Decorating the Tree

Tree

Micah was determined to drag the tree all the way to the car all by himself. We ran into a couple obstacles on the way where I helped drag it, but he did a great job! I thought helping Scottie through the snow was more of a workout than dragging the tree. Scott would get stuck in the deep snow, his gloves would come off, he'd play "I'm the tree," where he'd go limp and I'd have to drag him.

Our Tree

After finding our tree and chopping it down, look who's pooped from watching all the work!

My Cuties

Scott was too quiet one day while I was knitting. I looked behind the couch and found him playing with ointment. Micah pretended to fall asleep in the car so we'd carry him in and put him to bed (I remember doing the exact same thing when my family lived here).

Micah was playing some computer games and Scott was smelling and kissing his big brother's head and whispering in his ear. Then the last picture is with my boys in their BRAND NEW (used) SNOWSUITES! They were excited.

Crochet Lessons

Every time Micah sees his Grandma Sergie knitting or crocheting, he says, "I want to do it!" Grama sure has a fun time teaching Micah.

Ducks in November

On this November day we saw about 200 ducks, the day after this we saw over 500 of them. We tried to trick them into swimming closer to us by throwing grass into the water. We had fun watching them put their heads under water with their feet flapping in the air, they flapped their wings and we loved watching them waddle across the ice.
The boys make me laugh a lot these days. One morning at the table, Micah watched me stretch and yawn. At first he was smiling at me, then he stopped smiling and started frowning with big eyes and said, "MOM! WHY DO YOU HAVE MONEY ON YOUR TOOTH!" He saw my fillings and was very concerned.
Yesterday we were driving to the school. Micah and Scott were singing a few songs. I joined in and I called Micah and Scott, my babies. Micah said, "I'm not a baby, I'm a GROWN UP!" Scott added, "I'm a DOUGHNUT!" Scott is talking so much now! I told him to get up off the floor of a public place and he replied, "Be patient, mom."

North Pole

At the North Pole we stopped in to see Mr. and Mrs. Clause and their reindeer.

Group Pictures

Last month my family went to my sister's graduation. We drove for over 7 hours to North Pole. The boys were WONDERFUL! I couldn't believe how good they were, this being the longest car ride EVER...in their WHOLE LIFE! :) We made a few stops on the way.

Moose and Sled dogs

On our way to North Pole, Cyndi and Danielle ran into moose. After that we saw strange sled dogs.
